AKR2A participates in the regulation of cotton fibre development by modulating biosynthesis of very-long-chain fatty acids

Cotton is one of the most important natural textile fibers in the world used to produce clothing, furniture, and industrial products.

From this study, we know that hormone signal transduction regulates the growth and development of cotton fibers. The results provide new ideas to improve the yield and quality of cotton fibers.
